Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is called the “Paris of the East” by some. There are some arguments for that, including the abundant sidewalk cafes and the impressive architecture. I certainly loved their food and inexpensive beer!
For me, the Hungarian parliament building and several of the bridges crossing the Danube stand out as memorable sites in the city.
