The set of eight images in this exhibit represent a sample of those I had professionally printed in 2020, amidst the Covid Pandemic. They are intended to collectively transmit a theme of calm to the viewer during this challenging time in our nation, and the world at large, as the epidemic continues in 2021.
I made these exposures with my battery of Nikons during trips to Iceland, Maine and the Appalachian Mountains over the last 10 years. Each image was refined and then formatted, both for print and website display, in my digital darkroom using Adobe’s DNG Converter, Camera Raw, Lightroom, and Photoshop software.
Each photo was expertly printed by McKenna Pro Lab located in Waterloo, Iowa. I subsequently mat-mounted each print using acid-free materials and enclosed them in selected frames.
