This portfolio of 6 photographs was displayed on the short south wall adjacent to the east wall at the Calvert County Library Fairview Branch. Two photos were taken in Morocco in March 2023; one each were taken in Antalya, Turkey; Bangkok, Thailand and Aarhus, Denmark. The remaining photo of the waterfall was shot in South Dakota. This exhibit ran from August 2, 2024 through November 1, 2024.

“Waterfall on Moss” On my way to Wyoming I traveled on Route 222, which parallels winding Little Spearfish Creek. Roughlock Falls, just off the road, is best viewed from the side. I used a 1/2 second exposure to create the silky effect of the water. “Rubberbush Shrubs Amidst Saharan Dunes” A grove of rubber-bushes thrive in the auburn sands of the Sahara at Dunes d'Erg Chebbi. Unfortunately, the desert has become the play-ground of those with motorized toys. “Wat Arun Guardian” When visiting Bangkok, the Wat Arun “Temple of Dawn” is a must see and hard climb! Wat Arun is across the Chao Phraya River from central Bangkok, necessitating a crossing by river boat. The warrior figure is one of dozens guarding this ornate temple constructed of millions of small tiles. / Locale & Date: Wat Arun, 22 Feb 2013 / Bangkok Yai District, Bangkok, Thailand

“What's Behind The Door: The Kasbah” This ancient-looking door is located in the Arsa Quartier (Arsa Quarter) of the Kasbah, Marrakech. The orange cast adds mystique to the photo. Note the local woman with her packages walking towards the lens, ready to walk through the ray of light beaming through an adjoining alley. “Antalya Umbrellas” This shot of cascading rows of beach umbrellas was shot at the Porto Bello Hotel Resort in the seaside town of Antalya, Turkey. The resort sits on the Mediterranean Sea. / Locale and Date: Antalya, Turkey 17Sep2014

'Graven 2' Our stop in Aarhus, Denmark allowed for a walking tour close to the cruise terminal. The exposed structural timbers on the aged building to the left of the closest pedestrian is a fine example of centuries-old Danish construction.
